naoqi - Start NAOqi

Description

Logging options:

-h, --help
Produces help message
--version
Output NAOqi version
--pid arg
Filename to write PID.
--port-file arg
Filename to write port.
-n [ --broker-name ] arg (=NAOqi)
Name of the broker, default is NAOqi.
-b [ --broker-ip ] arg (=0.0.0.0)
IP of the server, default is 0.0.0.0
-p [ --broker-port ] arg (=9559)
Port of the server, default is 9559
--pip arg
IP of the parent broker, default is no parent (empty string)
--pport arg (=0)
Port of the parent broker, default is no parent (0).
-l [ --load ] arg
Library to load
--stack-size arg (=0.5)
Thread stack size (MB)
--autoload-file arg
Launch this specific autoload file
--max-try arg (=1)
Number of tries for connect to the main broker (0 for infinity).
--elapse-between-try arg (=1)
Number of second to wait during tries.
--naoqi-name arg
If given, launcher will be named ALLauncher_{naoqi-name}.
--crash-recovery
Recover from crash
-v [ --verbose ]
Enable verbose mode
-d [ --debug ]
Enable debug mode
--disable-life
Deactivate autonomous life launch at startup

Logging options:

--qi-log-level arg

Change the log minimum level: [0-6] (default:4)

  1. silent : No log show one console (equivalent to -q option)
  2. fatal : Show fatal logs error
  3. error : Show error logs
  4. warning : Show warning logs
  5. info : Show information logs (default value)
  6. verbose : Show verbose (-v) logs
  7. debug : Show debug (-d) logs. Debug logs are not compile on release mode (only shown on debug compilation)

Can be set with env var QI_LOG_LEVEL

--qi-log-filters arg

Set log filtering options. Colon separated list of rules. Each rule can be:

  • +CAT: enable category CAT
  • -CAT: disable category CAT
  • CAT=level: set category CAT to level

Each category can include a ‘*’ for globbing. Can be set with env var QI_LOG_FILTERS.

Example: ‘qi.*=debug:-qi.foo:+qi.foo.bar’ (all qi.*logs in info, remove all qi.foo logs except qi.foo.bar)

--qi-log-quiet
Do not show any log on console.
--qi-log-verbose
Shows verbose (level 5 and lower) logs.
--qi-log-debug

Shows debug (level 6 and lower) logs.

Debug logs is not compile on release mode (only shown on debug compilation)

--qi-log-context=CONTEXT

Shows context logs, it’s a bit field(add the values below):

1. Verbosity
2. ShortVerbosity
4. Date
8. ThreadID
16. Category
32. File
64. Function
128. End of line

Some useful values for context are:

26. (verb+threadId+cat)
30. (verb+threadId+date+cat)
126. (verb+threadId+date+cat+file+fun)
254. (verb+threadId+date+cat+file+fun+eol)

Can be set with env var QI_LOG_CONTEXT

--qi-log-synchronous
Activates synchronous logs.
--daemon
run NAOqi as a daemon
--pid=FILE
filename to write the process’ PID into
-n NAME, --broker-name=NAME
name of the main broker (default is NAOqi)
-b IP, --broker-ip=IP
IP which the broker will listen on, default is 0.0.0.0 for all interface
-p PORT, --broker-port=PORT
port which the broker will listen on, default is 9559
--pip=IP
connect this broker to another one. IP is the address of the parent broker, default is no parent.
--pport=PORT
Port of the parent broker, default is no parent
-l LIBRARY, --load=LIBRARY
library to load
--stack-size=SIZE
thread stack size (Mo). Default is 0.5
--log-forwarder=IP[:PORT]
do not use an inprocess log forwarder. Must specify the input ZMQ address of the wanted forwarder. This can be use to launch multiple forwarder when you start some naoqi on the same computer. Default is tcp://*:50998
