Switching Autonomous life on and off¶

To enable or disable Autonomous Life:

Step	Action
	Press the Chest Button twice.

Chest Button - NAO

Result

NAO switches its Life status.

From off to on, NAO:	From on to off, NAO:
Pushes a happy grunt, and Performs a Waking up.	Sights, Stops its Activities and Performs a Resting action.

Waking up¶

When requested to wake up, NAO:

Turns the Stiffness of its motors on,
Goes to a standing posture,

Note: this step is skipped when NAO is sitting, is lying, or has no feet.
Resumes its life.

When requested to rest, NAO:

Goes to its resting posture.

Note: this step is skipped when NAO is sitting, is lying, or has no feet.
Turns the Stiffness of its motors off.

You may also enable or disable Autonomous Life, from Choregraphe:

Step	Action
	Click the Life button.

To disable Autonomous Life by default at startup:

Step	Action
	On the NAO Web page, click the Alive by default button.
